Photo album of an unforgettable day for Binaural Nodar: The performance “Pontes Perenes sobre Águas Temporárias” (“Perennial Bridges over Temporary Waters”) which took place on the 15th of September 2018 on the banks of the Dão river, next to the medieval bridge of Trancozelos (Municipality of Penalva do Castelo).
This performance was part of the Rede Cultural Viseu Dão Lafões, a cultural programming project for the territory of the Comunidade Intermunicipal Viseu Dão Lafões, and drew an enthusiastic audience of more than 200 people, having constituted a true river of memories, sounds, music, words, objects, garments and evocative scents of the ancestral daily life of the centuries-old bridge of Trancozelos.
A heartfelt thank you to the population of the villages of Lisei and Trancozelos who collaborated with their memories, to the Rancho Penalva Do Castelo, to the Banda Musical e Recreativa de Penalva Do Castelo, to the concertina group of the Dão, to the team of the Municipality of Penalva do Castelo, especially Dr. Sandra Marinho, and to the Binaural Nodar team who conceived, produced and accompanied this performance: Luis Gomes da Costa, Liliana Silva, Diana Silva and Rui Colbert Costa.
We promise to return soon to this land of people with old-fashioned hospitality: simple, friendly and welcoming.
