DIGITAL MEMORY ARCHIVE OF VOUZELA
Public presentation
On February 21st, Luís Costa and Liliana Silva from Binaural Nodar gave a public presentation of the Vouzela Digital Memory Archive (www.memoriavouzela.org) at the Vouzela Municipal Auditorium.
Present were the Mayor of Vouzela, Dr. Carlos Oliveira, the councillor responsible for culture, Carla Maia, as well as some Civil Parish council presidents and representatives, namely from the Campia, Ventosa, Fataunços and Figueiredo das Donas, Vouzela and Paços de Vilharigues, Cambra and Carvalhal de Vermilhas civil parishes.
The documentation catalogued in the Digital Memory Archive of Vouzela is the result of various projects developed by Binaural Nodar with the Municipality of Vouzela since 2016, when it began its activities in the municipality, namely “Aqui vimos nobre gente” (Here we come noble people) about carol singing, “O tempo das coisas” (The time of things), about objects with affective value (in partnership with the Senior University of Vouzela), “Templo erguido” (Built temple), about the construction of the new church of São Miguel do Mato, “À eira” (To the threshing floor) about the rye cycle, and others.
Binaural Nodar is a cultural organization supported by the Portuguese Government – Culture | Directorate-General for the Arts.
