Várzea de Calde Linen Museum
Between June and August 2026, the Várzea de Calde Linen Museum hosted a series of guided tours and gatherings as part of the exhibition “The Time of Things”, promoting a more in-depth look at the objects, memories, and stories of the local community.
The tours made it possible to explore the visual and audio exhibition and its electroacoustic composition, while the gatherings provided moments of conversation and sharing around memory, heritage, and the transformations of rural communities.
“The Time of Things” was a production by Binaural Nodar, in partnership with the Municipality of Viseu, through the Várzea de Calde Linen Museum, and with the Calde Civil Parish Council, part of the European project Tramontana Network, co-funded by the Creative Europe Program. The exhibition resulted from a participatory process carried out between 2024 and 2025, involving residents of the villages of the civil parish of Calde.
Binaural Nodar is a cultural organization supported by the Portuguese Republic – Culture, Youth, and Sports | Directorate-General for the Arts.
