June 2nd, 1:45 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Latoue Primary School (Haute-Garonne, France)
An initiative of Eth Ostau Comengés in partnership with Binaural Nodar, part of the Tramontana / Total Festum Festival, within the Tramontana Network project, co-funded by the Creative Europe program.
The coordinator of Binaural Nodar, Luís Costa, will lead the sound and oral expression workshop «The infinite listening of rural water», which aims to encourage reflection among young participants from a village in the French Pyrenees on the manifestations of water in rural settings, based on the recording of a series of «sound games» in various places where water is present (springs, streams, washhouses, irrigation systems, reservoirs, waterwheels, etc.), which will, in a second phase, encourage the youngest participants to express themselves orally about what they heard and about their own family experience with water.
Binaural Nodar is a cultural organization supported by the Portuguese Republic – Culture, Youth, and Sports | Directorate-General for the Arts.
