Lafões Cult Lab (Vouzela)

The 15th edition of the Vouzela artist residency took place, co-organized by the Master’s Program in Contemporary Artistic Creation at the University of Aveiro and Binaural Nodar. Around ten students attended and developed artistic work in the context of the town.

Binaural Nodar ran a soundscape workshop, allowing some students to incorporate sound elements into their works. The coordinator of Binaural Nodar, Luís Costa, gave a lecture in the Doctoral Program in Artistic Creation at the University of Aveiro, as part of his research.

The artist residency was part of the activities of the Tramontana Network, a project co-funded by the Creative Europe program that covers artistic and archival practices in rural mountain contexts in several European countries.
