The Tramontana Forum will take place between 8 and 11 October in the Polish city of Radziejowice, an event of internal workshops and public presentations of the Réseau Tramontana, a European project coordinated by Binaural Nodar and co-financed by the European Commission’s Creative Europe Programme, bringing together 8 European organisations dedicated to ethnographic sound and multimedia research in rural mountain contexts.
Binaural/Nodar’s coordinator Luis Gomes da Costa will be present at the Fórum Tramontana, coordinating the various internal workshops, presenting some excerpts of the association’s recent work in the municipalities of the Lafões Region, the Municipality of Viseu and the municipalities of the Viseu Dão Lafões Intermunicipal Community, as well as presenting a recital of voice, sound and video entitled “Sound Legends of Lafões” (in its English version).
The main partners of the Tramontana Network are Binaural Nodar (lead partner), Nosauts de Bigorra, JP Ostau Comengés, Bambun, Associazione LEM-Italia, Audiolab and Numériculture Gascogne.
