Students of the Tourism Course at the Escola Profissional de Carvalhais – SPS experienced yesterday, 30/1, at the Casa da Lavoura e Oficina do Linho – Museu Etnográfico de Várzea de Calde, part of the Museus de Viseu of the Municipality of Viseu, arts and crafts of days gone by through its permanent collection and the temporary exhibition “Viseu Rural 2.0: [Re] expressar o Rural”, which recently received the official event seal of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 awarded by the European Commission. Glória Miranda, technician at the aforementioned museum, and Luís Costa, curator of the exhibition and president of Binaural Nodar, accompanied the class on this visit, which marks the beginning of a project between Binaural Nodar and the Escola Profissional de Carvalhais and, specifically, with the Tourism course, which will make it possible to work on the material and immaterial heritage of the Parish of Carvalhais and the multisensory dimension of future rural tourism experiences.
