The already long and intense relationship of Binaural Nodar with the Casa da Lavoura – Oficina do Linho, the ethnographic museum of Várzea de Calde (Calde Parish Council, Municipality of Viseu), one of the Museus de Viseu, had last week, on the 19th and 22nd of April, another beautiful moment of sharing.
Based on the exhibition curated by Binaural Nodar “[Re]expressar o rural” (“[Re]expressing the rural”) on display at the aforementioned museum space, the experience “Sons Rurais: À descoberta da exposição” (“Rural Sounds: Discovering the exhibition”) was created, which consists of a series of listening exercises and manipulation of materials, textures and objects from the museum itself, as a way of amplifying the perception of the expressive richness underlying the rural world, in this case the villages of the parish of Calde.
We once again thank the generous support of the Casa da Lavoura team, coordinated by Raquel Greenleaf and made up of Gloria Miranda, Monica Mauricio and Sandra E Vero Martins, who were invaluable in helping during the experience.
We leave some images of these experiences from the 19th and 22nd of April, captured by Sandra Martins (19/4) and Rute Sousa (22/4).
