We are pleased to share the second six-month bulletin of the European project Réseau Tramontana III (Creative Europe programme), currently led by Binaural Nodar, whose development covers a period from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2019, related to the documentation, cataloguing, dissemination and promotion of aspects linked to the cultures of European mountain regions, thanks to the work of eight cultural entities: Binaural/Nodar (Portugal), Bambun (Italy), Nosauts de Bigòrra (France), Eth Ostau Comengés (France), LEM-Italia (Italy), Akademia Profil (Poland), Audiolab (Spain) and Numériculture Gascogne (France). This co-financed project represents the third cycle of a large-scale collective effort that began in 2012.
We also announce that the Tramontana III project was selected by the European Commission as a success story within the framework of the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018. In this regard, a video was produced to celebrate our project, showing that rural Europe is compatible with contemporary cultural approaches and highlighting the diversity of actions implemented.
