School holidays have arrived, and Binaural Nodar, as usual, is enthusiastically joining the summer activities promoted by the Vouzela Municipality for the youngest audiences, in a project titled this year “Pequenos em Grande” (“Little Ones, Big Time”).

As part of this, the first four sessions of the workshop “Ouço, Lembro, Sinto” (“I Hear, I Remember, I Feel”) took place between June 28 and July 2 in the rural villages of Fataunços, Cambra, Rebordinho and Campia, with the participation of around 60 children aged 3 to 11. They had the opportunity to develop attentive listening to their surroundings, to share short accounts of their own memories and those of their closest relatives, to tell local legends and stories, and to understand the sonic interest of their own outdoor games.

Next week these summer workshops resume, this year led by Luis Gomes da Costa.
