Community Project
From March 23rd to 26th, the photo shoots for the “Landscape with people inside” project took place, under the artistic coordination of photographers Ana Margarida Ferreira and Liliana Silva from Binaural Nodar – Cultural Association.
The concept of these sessions focused on integrating the participants’ bodies into the rural landscape, fostering a connection between human presence and agricultural and pastoral activities, specifically cultivated fields and livestock. During the week, participants had the opportunity to explore magnificent locations in the municipality of Oliveira de Frades, such as: Cercal (São João da Serra), Aldeia da Várzea, Benfeitas, and Destriz (Destriz and Reigoso); Covelo de Arca (Arca and Varzielas); Prova (Pinheiro); Lugar da Portela and Ribeiradio Dam (Ribeiradio).
The sessions were attended by the coordinator of Binaural Nodar – Cultural Association, Luís Costa, the Dão-Lafões Community Mental Health Team (ECSM-DL), several municipal staff members, as well as the project mentors.
The “Landscape with people inside” project was approved under the Inclusion through Culture program, following an application submitted by the Municipality to CCDR Centro.
