Paraduça (Calde, Viseu, Portugal)
An initiative of the Paraduça Social, Cultural, Sports and Recreational Association in collaboration with the Civil Parish Council of Calde, the Municipality of Viseu and Binaural Nodar, part of the European project Tramontana Network funded by the Creative Europe programme.
Last Saturday, the Sound Walk to the Stomp Mill took place, during which many participants were able to follow an interpretive trail from the village of Paraduça to the Vouga River, as well as listen to and record the surrounding soundscape and a “pisão” (fulling mill) restored by the association, where woolen fabrics were stretched in order to become impermeable. The walk ended with a social gathering hosted by the local community.
