Starting from a sporting context she knows well as a player, women’s futsal in the Viseu region, Nely Ferreira, a collaborator at Binaural Nodar and a final-year student on the Multimedia Technology and Design course at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, has developed the artistic creation ‘Training is a game, game is emotion’, which explores the sound, visual and expressive environment of the senior women’s futsal team at Clube Desportivo Cinfães.
The project included sound and photographic recordings of training sessions and official matches, as well as interviews with players, and was presented to the club community on May 6th, as part of a multidisciplinary installation at the Armando Costa Municipal Pavilion in Cinfães.
The artist, ESTGV, and Binaural Nodar would like to thank the management of Clube Desportivo Cinfães for their willingness to host this artistic project.
