A project integrated into the program of Braga 25 – Portuguese Capital of Culture, with the support of the Municipality of Braga, the Union of Civil Parishes of Merelim (São Paio), Panoias and Parada de Tibães, the Center for Communication and Society Studies (CECS), the Audire project and the Braga Urban Transport Company (TUB).
The educational sound project “Ouço, Lembro e Sinto” (I Hear, I Remember and I Feel) will challenge children between the ages of 7th and 11th to listen to and record the landscape, activities and voices present in the Merelim São Paio River Area and the Parada de Tibães Community Garden, in order to express part of their personal world of memories, resulting in a set of narratives composed of soundscapes and oral stories, which will have both a territorial value, relating to the places to be visited and listened to, and a specific value, relating to the history and sensibility of the workshop participants.
