SWIMMING IN A SEA OF COLLECTIONS

January 2024 – Lafões Cult Lab (Vouzela)
During the month of January 2024 and as a way of starting the celebration of 20 years of activity, the Binaural Nodar team will dive into its oldest sound and audiovisual collections, bringing twenty surprising documents to light, one for each year of the organization’s history.
These twenty documents will be published in the Binaural Nodar Digital Archive (https://www.archive.binauralmedia.org) and will also be shared on social media. At the end of the research period, the material collected will be used to compose a sound piece paying tribute to the rural communities of the Viseu Dão Lafões region, with which the organization has been interacting since 2004.
