The exhibition “Between Times and Places: 10 years of creative hosting in Lafões”, produced by Binaural Nodar and the Master’s Degree in Contemporary Artistic Creation, the University of Aveiro (MCAC/UA), was opened in collaboration with the Municipality of Oliveira de Frades.

The exhibition and the accompanying catalog flow the history of Binaural Nodar’s hosting of MCAC/UA students in rural contexts, from 2011 to 2021, as part of artist residencies hosted annually in multiple locations in the three municipalities of Lafões; this journey is enriched by two audiovisual works by Luís Costa, based on legends and stories from the municipality of Oliveira de Frades: “How to represent the legends of Oliveira de Frades?” and “Submerged memory (an audiovisual essay)”.
