The “Memory on Wheels” project, an ethnographic initiative of the Municipality of Castro Daire, through its Municipal Library, developed in partnership with Binaural Nodar, will be present between the September, 19th and 22nd at FICA Castro Daire – harvest fair and festival, with dissemination actions towards the community
“”Memory on Wheels” is an integrated project of ethnographic research and archival methodologies of its rich cultural heritage, which includes the novelty of using an available resource, the mobile library of Castro Daire Municipal Library, which since March 2019 has also become a mobile audio and audio recording studio.
The motto of “Memory on Wheels” project is “we are all heritage”, a way of showing that ethnographic knowledge resides in each village, in each house and in each family, being part of the flow of memories that come from our ancestors, and which needs to be embraced, disseminated and projected for the future.
