The cultural heritage of any region consists of a dense network of aspects (legends and oral traditions, fauna, flora, geography and geology, agriculture and cattle breeding, forest and wilderness, handicrafts, oral stories, music and traditional songs, popular religiosity, traditional architecture, personalities and historical contexts, etc.), which are literally infinite and shared by the fourteen municipalities of the Viseu Dão Lafões Region.
“New Expressions of the Territory” is an audiovisual exhibition that starts from a set of artistic creations made from recordings made in landscapes and with communities of the fourteen municipalities in the region, flowing themes and narratives that propose non-literal poetic dimensions, thus trying to escape from the most common clichés related to heritage.
