Binaural / Nodar will participate in the European Platform for Artistic Research Conference in Music (EPARM), which will take place at ESMAE Porto from 22 to 24 March.
On March 23rd at 10:00 AM, Binaural/Nodar coordinator Luís Costa will be part of a round table moderated by Mário Azevedo (ESMAE Porto) and that will also include Gustavo Costa (Sonoscopia), Rui Penha (FEUP), Jorge Salgado Correia (INET-md), and Nuno Pinto (ESMAE). The theme of the roundtable will be the academic and non-academic research in the area of musical improvisation, A relevant subject throughout the twelve years of Binaural / Nodar’s path so far, in which territorial immersion methodologies have been developed in order to rediscover the importance of musical narratives which are as crucial as aesthetic, technical or technological aspects in musical creation.
