Xesús Valle was born in Vigo (Spain) and is an audio & visual artist, percussionist, vocalist and Net DJ. He started by studied persussion and vocal techniques and since the late 80’s formed several bands and personal projects.
Since 2002 Xesús develops two different audio projects, Plumbandplumber and Uveaele. With plumbandplumber he dedicates to the creation of electroacoustic collages from all sorts of sound sources (discography: “Come early go late”, “organic feedback” and “live set alga á superficie”) and with Uveaele he manipulates sound spaces (discography: “o forno das formulacións”). All his discography is published under “alg-a netlabel”, of which he is one of the managers.
Since 2002 Xesús has been performing in different spaces of Galicia and Portugal (IFI – Pontevedra, Salanasa – Santiago de Compostela, Vademecum – Vigo, Sinsalaudio – Vigo, 2005 Brg – Braga, etc.).
He plays with O.M.E.G.A. Orquestra de Música Espontánea Galega, where he manipulates, soundscapes and computer based sound actions.
Recently he created the sound space for Xavier Durringer’s theatre piece “Crónica de dias inteiros, de noites inteiras” with the participation of “A Factoría Teatro” and “Disquedanza” companies. Soon this work will be edited by Alg-a net label.
