The Parish of São Félix, Municipality of São Pedro do Sul, was the setting between the 19th and 22nd of April for another edition of the artistic residency co-organized by Binaural Nodar and the Master’s in Contemporary Artistic Creation course of DeCA – Departamento de Comunicação e Arte at the University of Aveiro, with the students (in this case, all female students!) having carried out fieldwork in various villages of the parish, alongside a soundscape workshop coordinated by Binaural/Nodar, and presented their artistic installation projects in the surrounding spaces and inside the old primary school of São Félix, at the São Félix Parish Council and at the São Félix Parish Church.
Binaural/Nodar thanks the support of the population who contributed to the success of the residency, the large local audience who attended the final presentation, the team of the São Félix Parish Council who were invaluable in logistical and communication support, the Restaurante Residencial O Manjar do Retiro for the accommodation, kindness and excellent cuisine, and, finally, the fantastic team of students and teachers who helped make these days together a true pleasure.
On the Binaural/Nodar side, the team that accompanied the artistic residency consisted of Luis Gomes da Costa, Liliana Silva and Rute Sousa.
