Produced by Binaural Nodar, in collaboration with Futsal Clube de Lamego, as part of the European project Rede Tramonana.
Building on a project developed in 2025, Nely Ferreira begins the research phase for a new edition of the artistic creation “Training is a game, a game is emotion”, linked to the world of futsal and produced by Binaural Nodar.
Dealing with a young boys’ team (in 2025 the project focused on a women’s team), this project centres on the process of identity formation at a crucial stage of personal growth, exploring the moment when futsal ceases to be merely a game and begins to play a significant role in the development of young athletes.
As in the previous edition, the project will include audio recordings of training sessions and matches, as well as interviews with athletes and the coaching staff, seeking to understand how they experience training, what emotions they associate with the game, and what meaning they attribute to victory, defeat and their dreams within the sport. The project also extends to the parents’ perspective, including the relationship they had with sport in their youth and the emotions they experience whilst supporting their children.
