I LISTEN TO PLANTS (ESCUCHO PLANTAS)
Sound Map of Uruguay
Minerva Experimental Radio

As part of the partnership between Binaural Nodar and the Sound Map of Uruguay, which has been in place since 2018, the coordinator of the latter project, anthropologist Ana Rodríguez, conceived a radio program on Minerva Radio Experimental about human-plant connections, ancestral knowledge, endangered territories, and intra-earth perception.

This broadcast featured several recordings made in the context of the Plantas Faladas: Arquivo de Memória Vegetal (Spoken Plants: A Vegetable Memory Archive) project, carried out in 2019 in collaboration with the community of Várzea de Calde and presented at the Linen Museum of Várzea de Calde (Viseu), in a co-production between Binaural Nodar, the Municipality of Viseu, and the Civil Parish Council of Calde.
