MAL DE ULISSES
A creation by Rui Catalão
We are pleased to share an interview with Rui Catalão and Madiu Furtado, held in Vouzela as part of the artist research residency for Rui Catalão’s new creation “Mal de Ulisses”, hosted by Binaural Nodar in partnership with the Municipality of Vouzela and with the Vocational School of Vouzela.
With distinct creations, adapted to the presentation venues, and casts comprised of immigrants or their descendants, “Mal de Ulisses” is developed in various regions from north to south of the country. This work model advocates the progressive autonomy of local groups.
