The coordinator of Binaural Nodar, Luis Gomes da Costa, will be one of the speakers at the third edition of the seminar on community intervention, promoted by the Psychology Degree at ISEIT / Instituto Piaget de Viseu, in conjunction with the coordination of the postgraduate course in Community Intervention, which will take place on the 18th of May, having as its aggregating theme the “Contribution of Artistic Practices”.

The organization of this seminar, which will take place at the amphitheater 1 of the Viseu Campus, aims to reflect on the role of artistic practices in the promotion of personal and socio-emotional skills, enhancing social inclusion and the active participation of communities. The event is primarily aimed at students, teachers, professionals, researchers and local agents in the social and community area.

Know the role of Psychology in the development of projects focused on artistic practices; get to know artistic intervention projects in different contexts; encourage research and scientific production in the Psychology course; and promoting dialogue around the themes presented are other objectives that this initiative proposes.

The seminar is organized with the support of the research unit of the Piaget Institute – RECI (Research in Education and Community Intervention) and the SI-PSI – Scientific Initiation Program for Psychology Students.
