Binaural Nodar announce that next Thursday, December 12th, the third block of the international educational project “SHARED LAND: TRANSRURALITY AND MEDIA” of exchange between rural schools from Portugal, Brazil and Uruguay will take place at the Fataunços Basic School (Municipality of Vouzela). This project is part of a partnership with Sound Map of Uruguay and includes the participation of teachers and students from the João André Figueira Municipal School of Basic Education in Alegrete (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil), from the Vouzela School Group (Viseu Dão Lafões, Portugal) and Rural School Nº 67 in La Estiba (Artigas, Uruguay).

This project, which first two blocks took place in September (Alegrete, Brazil) and November (La Estiba, Uruguay), includes several moments of listening, sound collection, interviews with members of the community and interaction between students from rural contexts, who, despite their geographical distance, share socio-cultural aspects and daily experiences, for example in terms of agricultural and livestock activities and in relation to its native flora and fauna.
