O projeto parte de um pressuposto de necessidade de se conferir express\u00e3o e densidade a todo um arco rural que envolve a cidade de Viseu e cuja mem\u00f3ria e estrutura fazem tamb\u00e9m parte da hist\u00f3ria da pr\u00f3pria cidade.<\/p>\n<p>Depois de uma 1\u00aa vers\u00e3o do projeto Viseu Rural 2.0 em 2015, no \u00e2mbito do qual foram produzidos 120 documentos \u00e1udio\/visuais etnogr\u00e1ficos e paisag\u00edsticos, criadas 10 obras art\u00edsticas por artistas de seis pa\u00edses, realizados cinco document\u00e1rios radiof\u00f3nicos e organizada uma exposi\u00e7\u00e3o final retrospetiva que esteve patente na Casa das Mem\u00f3rias de Viseu entre Novembro 2015 e Abril 2016, o projeto em curso neste ano de 2016 desenvolveu um extenso corpo de trabalho de documenta\u00e7\u00e3o patrimonial, cria\u00e7\u00e3o sonora e musical e educa\u00e7\u00e3o cultural no arco rural do Munic\u00edpio de Viseu, do qual se destacou o Concurso Internacional de M\u00fasica Eletroac\u00fastica e Arte Sonora: EXPLORA\u00c7\u00d5ES SONORAS DE UM ARQUIVO RURAL.<\/p>\n<p>Este concurso internacional consistiu no acesso por parte de m\u00fasicos eletroac\u00fasticos e artistas sonoros de todo o mundo a um conjunto de ficheiros \u00e1udio, parte constituinte do arquivo Viseu Rural 2.0 que foi sendo recolhido e organizado pela Binaural\/Nodar, criando assim um sentido de explora\u00e7\u00e3o e de dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o para al\u00e9m das fronteiras do territ\u00f3rio rural que rodeia Viseu. Desta forma, v\u00e1rios artistas localizados em regi\u00f5es distantes do planeta, puderam pensar e expressar Viseu e o seu contexto rural atrav\u00e9s da pesquisa sonora e musical. Foram recebidas mais de uma centena de obras, oriundas de 23 pa\u00edses, o que ultrapassou em muito as melhores expectativas da organiza\u00e7\u00e3o. Fizeram parte da sele\u00e7\u00e3o oficial 38 obras, aquelas que cumpriram na \u00edntegra os crit\u00e9rios de sele\u00e7\u00e3o e cuja qualidade art\u00edstica foi julgada de n\u00edvel elevado pelo j\u00fari.
