by Binaural Nodar coordinator Luís Costa, which was produced by the association and is also part of the author’s academic work in the context of the Doctoral Programme in Artistic Creation.

The artistic creations presented in the exhibition cover a wide range of media, including performance, sculpture/painting, video, mixed-media, interactive installation and sound art.

The exhibition is based on the development of practice-based research projects that seek to strengthen students’ autonomy in the realisation of their works and increase awareness of the meaning of the creative act itself – essential aspects for artistic practice.

The exhibition’s proposal is based on the idea of deepening knowledge, based on the substance of concepts and relationships established with aspects of reality (expressive reflection on places, people, histories, social processes and subjects), seeking a comprehensive understanding of artistic practice, a process guided by a multi- and transdisciplinary perspective, with the aim of developing, applying and expanding knowledge and reflection on the visual, sound and performing arts.

Binaural Nodar is a cultural organization supported by the Portuguese Republic – Culture | Directorate-General for the Arts.

[1184

post-21381","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news-2
["GET
