During the stay in Vouzela, rehearsals will be held with the artistic team and with students from the Vouzela Vocational School who took part in the project&#8217;s first artist residency, which happened last May. At the end of the residency, there will be a public presentation for the educational community of the school.<\/p>\n<p>Portugal&#8217;s recent history has witnessed two little-studied migratory experiences: those who left the country during the dictatorship and those who arrived in the era of the European Union. A depiction of a Portuguese society undergoing rapid change, \u201cMal de Ulisses\u201d brings together testimonies of a part of the country that is disappearing and another one that is emerging. <\/p>\n<p>A traumatic epic of those who left their countries of origin in search of another future, in \u201cMal de Ulisses\u201d old emigrants and young immigrants tell their story: why they left their families, their way of life and the problems they faced adapting. <\/p>\n<p>Conception, dramaturgy, text and staging: Rui Catal\u00e3o<br \/>\nTechnical director: Jo\u00e3o Chic\u00f3<br \/>\nInterviews: Madiu Furtado<br \/>\nExecutive producer: Marta Moreira<br \/>\nProduction: Irreal<br \/>\nCo-productions: Teatro Municipal do Porto &#8211; Rivoli .
