THE ANCESTRAL VIBRATION OF LINEN<\/strong>
\nS\u00e3o Mateus Fair (Viseu)<\/p>\n

On August 28th, Binaural Nodar was present at the S\u00e3o Mateus Fair, at the invitation of the V\u00e1rzea de Calde Linen Museum and the Municipality of Viseu, to present some samples of the work developed on the topic of linen.<\/p>\n

Lu\u00eds Costa and Liliana Silva had the opportunity to contextualize the sound and audiovisual ethnographic investigations that began in 2016, which, over the years, have materialized in the V\u00e1rzea de Calde Memory Archive, in the bilingual book and documentary “V\u00e1rzea de Calde: A village woven in linen”, in the CD “Songbook of the Linen and Rural Life” and, more recently, in the collection of 20 visual and sound postcards about the linen cycle, which were on display at S\u00e3o Mateus Fair throughout the week.<\/p>\n
