Le Piano du lac was born in the French Alps to reinvent the concept of classical concert and to build instruments adapted to the landscape. Throughout their sound transhumance, they merge music, theater and dance that is presented in natural settings that become real improvised amphitheatres, promoting new spaces for active listening where audiences can enjoy music and landscape and promote social bonds.<\/p>\n

Every summer since 2014, different self-produced tours run through multiple European waterways, inviting the public to experience a moment of poetry on water, in the heart of natural or urban waterscapes chosen for their unique beauty. In 2021, 5 tours were held with 5 different floating shows in France, Spain – and occasionally in Belgium -, with a total of 209 concerts and 42,659 spectators.<\/p>\n

In 2022, and in co-production with the Spanish company La Xata La Rifa, Le pianO du lac presents its new show Flota Id\u00f3nea, a floating recital that invites audiences to enjoy the sunset and the landscape in a surprising way, which will be presented at:
\n– V\u00e1rzea de Calde Dam, Viseu, on July 29th and 30th at 7:00 pm.
\n– Oliveira de Frades Urban Park, July 31st at 7:00 pm.<\/p>\n

The shows held in Portugal are programmed and hosted by Binaural Nodar and have the collaboration of several local entities:
\n– Shows on July 29th and 30th : Collaboration of the Municipality of Viseu, V\u00e1rzea de Calde Linen Museum, the Calde Civil Parish and the V\u00e1rzea de Calde Agricultural Council.
\n– Show of July 31st: Collaboration of the Municipality of Oliveira de Frades<\/p>\n

On the occasion of her adventure in Spain and Portugal, Violette Pr\u00e9vost, the pianist rouge, will propose her repertoire full of compositions that are as smooth as they are intense, aboard her redOnda-pianO, a new floating platform handcrafted in wood and aluminium. Accompanied by Sabine Figuet’s magic flute and M\u00f3nica Cofi\u00f1o’s dance steps, Violette will lose her inhibitions in French, thrill in Spanish and venture into Portuguese. The piano gains momentum before fading away, everything is movement on this floating platform that sways according to the swimmer and choreographer’s impulses!<\/p>\n

The ensemble will be at the mercy of the waves, currents and the whims of the weather… In this great aquatic ballet, the fusion of flute melodies and dance steps will captivate the audience with their delicate intensity.<\/p>\n

The public should attend the shows with their comfort kit, a small chair or cushion, as there are no pre-established seats: the show is enjoyed outdoors, in the midst of the surrounding context.<\/p>\n
