Choreography of gazes directed by a mobile phone screen, a burlesque odyssey of an African family life on the European continent, IVONE! is a first-person account of the feeling of abandonment and dependence that guided the development of a Cape Verdean girl.<\/p>\n

The character of Ivone (whose stories were collected by Guinean journalist Madiu Furtado) share a similar way of life with the interpreters of the play: the incredible adventure of the African diaspora.<\/p>\n

IVONE! is also a theater-dance group, based in Vale da Amoreira, and comprised of four performers who, in the last four years, have participated in different pieces by Rui Catal\u00e3o.
