SOUND LEGENDS OF OLIVEIRA DE FRADES

These are times when old stories from our people tend to loose importance over other narratives of a global nature. However, knowing and, more importantly, perceiving life behind the ancient legends of people who have passed through each territory, one can, for example, help youth re-gain some sense of self-esteem for their land.<\/p>\n

\u201cSound Legends of Oliveira de Frades” is a recital for children of three chosen legends from the region (legend of the dolmen of Paranho de Arca, legend of the stone in the air and legend of the bridge of Cunhedo), which will be involved by an audiovisual environment visual, thus fostering new readings and appropriations of stories lost in the mist of time.<\/p>\n

This recital is part of the tripartite funding contract between the Directorate-General for the Arts, the Municipality of Oliveira de Frades and Binaural Nodar, as well as being part of the Creative Europe project \u201cTramontana Network\u201d, of which Binaural \/ Nodar is currently leading partner.<\/p>\n
