Pedro do Sul area.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cCinema nas Aldeias\u201d (\u201cCinema in the Villages\u201d) program consists in the itinerant projection of documentary films in the most isolated and peripheral rural villages of the Gralheira mountains, in partnership with the local community organizations. The purpose of this project is to promote a contact with the diversity of the contemporary world and to develop a sense of understanding and tolerance regarding different forms of living and thinking.<\/p>\n<p>The new strategy of \u201cCinema nas Aldeias\u201d is set to include more villages in the projection schedule, to promote the program to outside audiences, and to search for a diversified and renovated set of interesting documentary films.
