Pedro Tudela e Miguel Carvalhais
Pedro Tudela and Miguel Carvalhais work as @c since 2000. Their work is developed in between complimentary aesthetic approaches to electronic sound and in the confrontation between rhythmic structures and free and a periodic sound elements, often generated algorithmically or based in field recordings. Composition and improvisation are balanced in the digital enhancement of audial realities, from references to memories, between recognition and abstraction.
Pedro Tudela (Viseu, 1962) is an artist and musician, Miguel Carvalhais (Porto, 1974) is a communication designer and musician, both teach at the University of Porto.
