Wolfgang Dorninger is currently working on a video-documentary on artists who use the microphone as a main instrument for their artistic expression. The work-title of the documentary is “in the fields / Feldaufnahmen”
Apart from editing some of the raw video material of “in the fields / Feldaufnahmen”, during Wolfgang’s stay in Nodar he composed a musical piece based on water sounds in their different metamorphosis (river, fountains, tanks, aqueducts, etc.), all recorded in the Nodar region. This piece will be presented as an audio installation on the banks of the Paiva river.

Wolfgang Dorninger lives and works in Linz and Vienna, Austria. His main artistic expression focuses in sound art and experimental music ranging from sound-installation to concert, multimedia and radio art. He teaches at the Art-University in Linz, Austria and composes music for theatre, dance and film.
