Project: I just want to be (what I am)
To start from a reflection about the borders of a person. To explore the idea of border and anti-border, of vast surface, of free circulation. As social beings we are, how far we are enclosed in non-contaminated roles? Or are they contaminated? And if they are contaminated, what’s the result? To try to eliminate the borders of a person, mine in particular. To expose this attempt. To transform an idea into an interdependent set of sounds, images, a body in movement. To find its and my artistic essence. My project had a multimedia performance as a result, which included a video projection, live music, spoken word and songs. This performance includes several autonomous records that complement themselves: a video, a soundtrack, a text.
